How's It Done? >>> CAD Cutting

Fabric Garments - CAD Cutting is a process of cutting vinyl and heat-pressing it onto a fabric.

First, vector art or text is created by LN Groups artists, which is out putted to a special cutter. The cutter cuts an exact replica of the art out of vinyl.

The artists then pull away the areas of vinyl that are not needed in the design. This can get difficult so it is important to use simple designs.

After all the unnecessary areas are weeded away the design is placed on to the garment and heated to 320 degrees with 30 lbs of pressure. This causes the vinyl to adhere to the fabric. The result is a clean and durable design that will last for years.

Decals - This process is the same as above, except that it is not heated and pressed onto fabric. Instead, a large piece of masking tape is put over top of the design. The tape will stick to the vinyl allowing it to be pulled off of the backing.

The design can then be placed in it’s final position (on a vehicle, wall, window etc.). The adhesive will stick stronger than the masking tape. This allows for the tap to be pulled off, revealing the final decal.
